Indications
- Symptomatic treatment of acute diarrhea in adults and children over 12 years of age.
- Symptomatic treatment of acute diarrhea associated with diagnosed irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) in adults.
Dosage and Administration
The capsules should be swallowed without chewing, with a small amount of liquid.
Adults and Children Over 12 Years
The initial dose is 2 capsules (4 mg). For each subsequent episode of diarrhea, 1 capsule (2 mg) should be taken.
The maximum daily dose should not exceed 6 capsules (12 mg).
Use in children under 12 years of age is contraindicated.
Elderly Patients and Patients with Renal Impairment
No dose adjustment is required.
Patients with Hepatic Impairment
Although there are no available data regarding the pharmacokinetic effects of the medicine in these patients, caution should be exercised because of the potential for reduced first-pass metabolism.
Treatment with loperamide should not exceed 48 hours. If there is no clinical improvement within 48 hours, treatment should be discontinued and a doctor should be consulted.

10 capsules in one blister made of PVC-coated material and aluminum foil.
10 blisters are packed in a carton together with the package leaflet.
Storage Conditions
Store at a temperature not exceeding 25°C, protected from light and out of the reach of children.
